Habari Gani?!

Kwanzaa.

Hopefully, that greeting is familiar to you, if not, no worries you still have your “black card”. I actually just celebrated Kwanzaa with my family for the first time last December and the experience was life-changing! The principles of Kwanzaa not only celebrate the African American heritage but also help to build strong character in adults and children. But enough about my love for Kwanzaa, I want you to experience it for yourself!

Celebrate Kwanzaa With Me

Beginning on Saturday, December 26th and going through January 1st 2016, you will experience a virtual Kwanzaa celebration with me! I will be sharing how my family and I celebrate Kwanzaa live through Periscope and hosting a daily Twitter chat guiding you through the principle of the day. Excited?! Well, what if I told you that you could win hair care and lifestyle products every day of Kwanzaa?

Good, because I’ve partnered with some of the amazing brands featured in the “Holiday Hair Care Guide for Locs” and a few other black-owned businesses for a week-long Kwanzaa giveaway!! Here’s a teaser… the #CNGKwanzaa celebration is sponsored by Adiva Naturals, a company that creates all natural products for everything from hair care to skin care; Dr.Locs, a new brand that has created products specifically for locs that will not cause build up, and Nu Adé, a hair care company with oils that can rejuvenate the driest of dry hair!
