Faux Afro Hairstyle With Pin Curls on Sisterlocks

Pin Curls on Sisterlocks

This style is really simple to achieve and will result in a head full of loose curls after you take it down. Another great 2 in 1 style! This style is also great for new Sisterlocks because it does not pull on the roots or cause slippage. You can also achieve this style if you have short/medium length traditional locs, which makes it a great option for starter locs as well!

Products & Tools for Pin Curls

The Pin Curls on Sisterlocks are so simple and easy to create that it does not even require that much product. Mainly, you will only need the following items:

  • Bobby Pins
  • Setting Lotion
  • Hair Tie

Have you tried pin curls on your locs? How did you like the results?

I love this and it looks simple to do. I’m a sucker for updos anyway. Great job.

Thank you! 🙂

After I wash my hair, I simply braid it and let it dry. When I take them out, I have super wavy hair. Now my hair is getting longer and I was looking for some larger rollers, Lock Loops and other styles. Its really thick along the lower shafts of the hair and I have to braid in smaller sections because of the thickness.

Are you still located in the DC area?

I’m in Maryland.
