Ya’ll remember that time I installed crochet Marley Twists over my locs and did a natural looking crochet twist out; but then failed miserably at Crochet Havana Twists?!

Well, during my last crochet attempt, as I was trying to strategically cornrow my locs down, I kept thinking “there should be some type of pre-braided hair net that I could just install the twists on“. Would you believe my prayers were answered?!
A fellow Youtuber, LocdBeauty tweeted me with a solution to the crochet Havana twist debacle —a Cornrow Cap.

This is launching within the next few weeks via Vivica Fox’s Hair Collection line and I am really looking forward to it. The Cornrow Cap will be available in Small, Medium and Large sizes so depending on the length / size of your locs you can get one to fit your head comfortably. Also, the Cornrow Cap will be come in two different braided patterns, “Straight Back” and “Horse Shoe”, so you can create different looks with your crochet styles. If this works like I envision it to, I will be rocking all the latest hairstyles without having to worry about how to sleep in it, how to moisturize underneath of it, or how tight it is on my edges. *praise hands*
What do you think of the Cornrow Cap? Would you use it or do you think it’s unnecessary?

wow… that’s brilliant!! I love it! …but I do have many questions: how to secure it to your head so that your locs don’t slip out? Will your locs be bulky underneath? Can you create the crotchet style, wear and remove like a wig? These questions come from my experience with wigs over my locs for Halloween. In any event, I’ll be looking forward to your attempt and review of this process… good luck! 🙂
