The Effects of Your Starter Locs Growing…

I JUST WATCHED THE FUNNIEST VIDEO…

But first let me paint a quick picture for you. It’s 2010, I had loose natural hair that I could do all types of styles with — especially big high puffs. However, my hair was becoming too much to “manage”. So at the time, my choices were to big chop or start locs. I choose the latter.

Now, I can’t speak for everyone, but I can speak for myself, when I say that as soon as I started my locs I wanted longer hair. My goal was a high ponytail so that I could replicate my big high puffs. I just knew that as soon as my locs were long enough to get into a ponytail, I would feel “accomplished”. However, as my hair started locking, it got shorter— the nerve! So once I reached the teenage stage and my locs started getting length, you couldn’t tell me nothing! I was definitely Rapunzel — in my mind, but it was a process.

So when I saw this video put on my timeline, I laughed for a good 20-30 minutes! It is all facts!!! I dare you to watch this video and find the lie, lol!
