When you have locs and you see a fly naturalista rockin’ a fierce ‘fro a little part of you secretly wishes you had loose natural hair so that you could switch it up and try out the latest trends on your hair. No? Just me? Ok well I can admit it; but one thing is for sure, I DO NOT miss the work that goes along with loose natural hair. So to get the best of both worlds, I just made my first natural hair crochet wig!

The process was very simple; I used a crochet hook to crochet about 2.5 packs of Havana Hair onto the hair net. I think it took me about 2 hours to complete my crochet wig.

You may have noticed me rockin’ the crochet wig at the Naturalista Hair Show. A few people that saw me the first day thought I combed my locs out overnight, lol! You can see more of the wig in action in my vlog on my personal channel, PiecesOfJojo.

My next step is to make another afro-textured crochet wig that is longer and with some colored accents so that I really have some diversity with my hair!

Would you rock a Crochet Wig?
