Remember my post from a few weeks ago, “Thinking About Combining My Locs“, well I went ahead and did it! I combined 12 locs into 6 locs, giving me a total of 44 locs now. The method I used involved a combination of interlocking and two-strand twisting.
Here is a close up of my combined locs on each side of my head.

Personally, I like the method I used on the right side versus the left side. I think the right side appears as one loc, whereas the left side looks like two locs combined. Oh well, lol.

Thanks for the quick video. I’ve been wanting to combine for the longest time now but wasn’t sure how to go about it. My concern is that it’ll look spacy. My hair is naturally fine, and you can make the dreads bigger but that doesn’t mean thicker, ya know?
I love yours, though. You did a great job.

Very good point about making them bigger but not “thicker”,I’m pretty sure thats what I did, lol.

Do you mind having a wide loc base now that you’ve combined?

The ones that I combined didn’t really create a wide base, but there are a few more I want to combine but haven’t yet because of the wide base it would create. I’m slowly working towards acceptance lol.
